I downloaded what I thought was a "Free Download" which would put a link in each form. I have no problem with that. Installation was easy and I created a couple of simple forms to just go through the process.
But joomla says installation not validated. So, I went to ChronoForms to see how to validate free vertion and it asks for purchase code. I will purchase a subscription as soon as I get to put a couple of forms up and test them. So my question is, How do I validate free version?

You don't need to validate it. The free version is identical to the paid/validated version except that it puts a strap-line under the form and shows you a red message in the Admin (the paid version removes the strap line and shows you a greenish message in the Admin).
