Hello,
I have noticed that chronoforms does not save all my users to the database. It will skip users. For example user id 210 Susan Miller is registered into Joomla but is missing from chronoforms database. Can you help me? Thanks
Hi kmousi,
There will be a good logical reason for this . . . but I haven't any idea what it might be from the information here.
You can safely assume that ChronoForms will save the info if the DB Connection is executed and the input names and column names match correclty.

Hi Bob,
How can I execute the DB Connection? Thank you
Hi kmousi,
I assume that you already have - Enable DB Connection needs to be set to Yes on the DB Connection tab.

Hello Bob,
Yes I have. Its weird some users will not be saved to the database but they get registered under Joomla user manager. I can see in chronoforms that the user id number jumps. The user id will be 210 and it will go 212. The 211 user id is only found in joomla user manager and doen go in the database of chronoforms. Any suggestions? Thanks
Hi kmousi,
It sounds as though you are trying to add users and add the same info the the jos_users table.
Don't use a DB Connection to the jos_users table unless you know exactly what you are doing and don't use it with the Joomla Registration plugin.

Hello Bob,
I thought you told that it is possible to have a user create an account to joomla and save their info to chronoforms database (signup). So far its working but it skips users. What is the best way to have it set up so there is no data loss when a user register, creates an account in joomla and signs up for a newsletter? Right now I have 1 chronoform form set up, where a user creates an account in Joomla, their info is saved to jos_chronoform_signup and I automatically added to a newsletters sign up. The reason why I do this because I want an user to fill out more info when they sign up for a newsletter. Any suggestions? Thanks
Hi kmousi,
Please check my last reply.

Hi Bob,
I am not adding users to jos_users table. All the user are saved in jos_chronoforms_signup. Is there a way that I can contact you to hire you to fix this? Thanks
