Form with multiple sites

Hello .. am new here and don't have that much experiene with CHRONOFORMS .. but I am learning and coming more and more to the goals I want to reach :-)

I have a question please ... 😟

I created a form which contains 10 pages .. means in my forms management I have 10 different "form ID's".. page 1 to 10 . Each page has at the end a button (I used the sbmit button when I created the forms with the wizard)
The idea is that my form starts with page 1 .. at the end it says "GO ON TO NEXT STEP" and than by clicking the button it should jump to page 2 .. from there to page 3 etc.

My questions are now:

1.) How do I need to set the button that it transfers to the next page ? Is that possible ?
2.) Do the names have to be all the same in the FormsManagement ? Currently ID#1 is called page 1, ID#2 is called page 2.. etc. Do I need to give them all the same name ?

Thank you for any help in advance ! 😢

See also attached Image please to make it clearer ...

Hi mirosta,

You can use the Multi-page plugin to help with this. Test a simple two page form first.

PS You should not have spaces in your form names they will cause problems.

THANK YOU BOB

I meanwhile found this topic :
http://chronoengine.com/forums/index.php?option=com_chronoforums&cont=posts&f=9&t=14744&p=49718&hilit=multi+page#p49718

But the part I don't really get and which is not working here is this: (BOLD)

Create mother_form with no code at all (mother form):
Publish it

2ΒΊ Create a multi page form: link form1, form2 and form3 to mother form

- Get checked mother_form on Forms Manager Panel. Click on Multi Page Plugin at the left side of the panel.
- Set the plugin with the following parameters:
Number of Steps: 3
Step form names: form1,form2,form3
Finalize button name: Finish
Enable Steps navigation: no
Debugging: no
- Click on mother_form at Forms Manager Panel.
Go to Plugins Tab and enable Multi Page (set the Multi Page row to green with an 'x').

Can you explain that to me in a few more simple words ? What means Finalize Button ... and how do I create a "mother_form with no code at all" ? With the wizard ???

I understand it that I should create an empty mother_form, and with my 10 pages I set the number 10 and name all of them divided with a comma .. right ?

But if I try this I get this message:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error....

Can you help again please ?

Hi mirosta,

1) Create the mother form using the 'New' icon in the Forms Manager toolbar.

I understand it that I should create an empty mother_form, and with my 10 pages I set the number 10 and name all of them divided with a comma .. right ?

I don't know where you are doing this if you haven't created a mother form???
