Cannot enable Emails

brucewhealton 07 Apr, 2010
Hello all,
Recently, I installed ChronoForms on another site of mine. I've used Chronoforms on other sites and have not had this problem. What happens is if I click on the name of the form and then look at the General tab, I see that Email the results is set to yes.
When I go back to the form management, I see Emails: Enabled: 0, Disabled 1. I click on that link and it takes me back to the place where it says that Email the results is set to Yes.
I did notice also, when setting up the Email Container, everything is in green but when I click on Apply, nothing seems to happen. What would cause that? Is it a problem - I mean am I supposed to see something happen? I just see a dotted line appear around the box and that's it. I've tried different browsers and still get the same results.
So, I'm not sure what the deal is other than it just isn't taking when I hit apply.
Please advise,
Bruce

Hi brucewhealton,

You have to enable the Email Setup in the Properties box and click Apply, Nothing visible happens then though :-(

If the Enable setting is greyed out then there is something wrong with the setup.

Hi vaughy,

You should not see html there. Is that in the Wizard Edit or the Form Editor?

Please can you post a screenshot.

Hi Joff,

Then the Email Setup is incorrect or incomplete. Unfortunately that part isn't in the image.

Please see the Email Tutorial from the Tutorials link above.

I had this happen to me. The mambot/plugin editor disappeared, disabled=1 and the mail stopped working.

I never could get it to work again and I've just now reverted to a previous back up and am redoing the changes.
