its one of the simple task for the user:

1.) Email results = ON
2.) enable every email field at email properties

what am i missing, the email properties is still grey and unchangeable

Hi finc,

Please check the Email Tutorial from the Tutorials link above if you have not already done so. The Email Setup must have To, Subject, From Name & From Email* boxes correctly completed before you can enable it.
