Hi, is there a way to re-send an authentication email when a user changes their email address on the edit user details form? thank you for your time.

Nothing automatic but I image that you could make it happen somehow. Maybe a custom 'Edit User Details' form?

i am already using a chronoform rather than the joomla edit user details form as i capture extra fields. any ideas on how to do this from a chronoform?thanks

The Email Verification plugin should do the trick.

Just been having a look at the plugin, it looks perfect.
is there an easy way that the verification email plugin will only be used if the email filed is changed to a different address that is stored in the table. so, if they only update there name and not there email address i wouldnt want a verification email to be sent? im guessing this is a complicated bit of php comparing the form field to whats in the database? thanks

I think it ought to be possible to set up some code in the OnSubmit before box to temporarily disable the plugin but there is no simple way of doing this that I know of :-(
