This one is needed urgently.

Can we please have a backup/restore facility for CC as we do for CF. Documenting CC by hand for backup is fraught with challenges (and missed or inaccurate data) and restroing it is just as dangerous.

Please Max... When will we see it.

Also, a copy connection feature would also be very helpful as often we have many connections that are just a slight variation on one another. duplicates CC connections is a royal pain and tedious.

Hi aj,

A bit of a workaround but all the info for a ChronoConnection is held in a single database record, so you can backup by saving the DB table and you can duplicate by copying the row and changing the name.

I'll see if I can create a Form that will do the copying . . . after I've had come coffee.

Hi aj,

Please give this little form a try. It should show you a set of 'copy' buttons for all the exising Connections. Click a button to create copy called 'connection_name_copy'.

*** Test form, use with care. Backup your CC table before using!! ***
(That said it should be pretty safe.)

PS The attached file is a zipped .cfbak file. Unzip and then restore into ChronoForms to use.
