Email Not Working

Kellie 24 Jan, 2010
Hi,

I went through tutorial #3 on how to install emails. But, when I test the form, I am not getting the emails. I have gone through the tutorial twice and can't figure out my error. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

thanks,
K

Hi Kellie,

Based on that information . . . no idea at all

In the Forms Manager there is an Emails column. What does the entry for your form say?

Hi,

In the setup emails column under forms management I have:

To kellieanderson72@gmail.com
Subject NL Registration Form Results
Fromname admin
FromEmail admin@networklubricants.com

Email Results under General Tab is set to yes.

Hi Kellie,

Again: In the Forms Manager there is an Emails column. What does the entry for your form say?

The Forms Manager is the page where all the forms are listed.

Enabled:0
Disabled:1

Edit: I read the tutorial adding emails but it still doesn't work. 😢

Hi bluep,

Either you don't have 'Send Emails' set to Yes on the form general tab or your email setup isn't enabled in the Setup Properties box. If the enable option is greyed out then the setup isn't complete or the values in the boxes aren't correct.

Solved, checked every thing 10 times and it works.
But last but not least, why does it don't send all form to e-mail.
I mis the textArea, FileUpload etc, does it means that I have to buy the license?

Thanks Bob.

Hi Bluep,

Nothing to do with the license. Usually because you added those inputs after you created the Email Setup.

Delete the Email template from the editor in the Email Template tab. Including any HTML that is not visible (click the HTML button to check) and ChronoForms will create a new tempalte from the current form HTML

Hi Kellie,

Thanks for the login info.

You had a url in the Submit URL box - if you use this box then ChronoForms never sees the form results and cannot send emails or save data (or anything else). I moved it to the Redirect URL box which is probably what you intended.

I also deleted the empty email setup.

Hi Greyhead,

I'm having a similar problem with my setup, the enabled field under email properties is greyed out.

I can't seem to enable it, could it be because I am trying to create a form from html code rather than using the wizard?

Thanks,

Phil
