Chronoforms worked ok. But I cant receive the email anymore

Can anyone help me?

I used the form to receive table reservations. Stopped 2 days ago emailing to me. On my hosting and isp side... everything seems ok.

Any one clue?

Hi karman,

Well, nothing has changed with ChronoForms (unless you edited the code) so clearly something has changed on the server or ISP side.

Have you checked debug to see if the emails are being sent?

Have you checked your spam folder?

Have you checked with your ISP to see if they have changed their spam filters in any way?

Hi Bob,

Thanks for reaction. But Ive checked with my ISP.
I can email with my emailaccounts.
Only Chronoforms won't mail.
I didnt change anything.
Debug mode has no errors.
So ...very strange
I can see my postings in the database jos_chronoforms_(myform)
Its registrate... but doesnt mail...
any clue?

Hi karman,

Sorry can't help you much with this.

The message "An email has been SENT successfully from (Online reserveringsdienst restaurant Hasekura)castricum@hasekura.nl to [email]info@sun-webdesign.nl[/email]" tells us that ChronoForms passed the email to the Joomla mailer and got a 'Success' response. So all we know is that it has left ChronoForms OK but hasn't arrived at it's destination.

Spam filters are still the most common cause of failure to deliver.

Well, I found out what the problem was.

Chronoforms was ok indeed.
I changed it to PHP mailer and everything is ok again.
But with this SMTP settings it worked before...
Well maybe more a Joomla update thing. Im using 1.5.14.

Need to update it ..🙂
