Hello,
I have just upgraded from 3.0 to the latest RC5.5 and now the validation does not work.

Anyone having a clue where to look for?

Hi Sjoerd,

The validation is OK if you view the form without the template - you have to submit to see the error messages.

Your template is loading a second copy of MooTools and I think this may well be the problem. Try commenting it out of the template files.

This sounds very simpel. However, I have tried to rename all my mootools js files in the template dir and still have this problem. It sure has something to do with the template since the contact form does work when loading it directly, but I need this template....

Any other ideas?

I was having the same problem - upgraded Joomla, upgraded ChronoForms, even the basic template wasn't working. And debug wasn't showing any problems.

I Finally found my problem - in ChronoForms >Form Management in the Core/View form Settings box Load Chronoforms CSS/JS Files? was set to NO. As soon as I flipped it to YES it worked.

I have tried what you suggested. This obviously worked for you, but not for me. I again tried to check if there maybe still was some mootools JS loaded and there was. After killing that script (template: ja_mageia\ja_menus\ja_cssmenu\mootools.v1.1.js) the form does work.
