Error message when users click to the form

tw1277 06 Aug, 2009
I have a link in the text and it goes to the form. But in some cases when you click the link and error message comes up that says, “There is no form with this name or may be the form is unpublished, Please check the form and the url and the form management”. This error also appears after the submit button is pressed. Sometimes when they click back and try the link again, the form appears. I copy the form url from a seperate window and use that when I create the link (although TinyMCE strips out the "sitename.com" and just has index.php?option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=form_name in the link properties). Should I be copying the url from the form management tab?

Also, my site name in the joomla's global configuration and the site url are different. Could this be messing with the form? Any help is greatly appreciated.

please make sure you are using the latest version of the Chronoforms AND make sure your form name doesn't have any - or special characters, only alpahs, nums and underscore_

Did you try ChronoMyAdmin for managing your Joomla database tables ?

They all had underscores. I will take them out and let you know what happens when users submit.

Sometimes the forms work and sometimes they don't. I still get the same error (mentioned in the previous post) when users fill out the form and click the submit button. The error says "You are not allowed to access this URL". Another strange thing I noticed, when you come back to the form (not hitting the back button on the browser, but navigating back to the form) and try to resubmit it works. Does it need to be cached? Very frustrating, because the form names only have alphas. Should they not be camel-cased alphas? Thanks for all your help!
