Hi, I'm new to Joomla AND Chronoforms so please keep it simple! I have searched for an answer to this but not been successful so apologies if this has already been solved somewhere.
Basically I have (after many hours) got my form to work but the real bug is that when I submit the form, the page reloads with another blank form together with my confirmation message right at the bottom so unless the user scrolls right down to the bottom of the page they are not going to see it. Is there any way I can get the page to reload ONLY with the confirmation message at the top of the page without the form reappearing?
I was hoping to go live with my new site today so any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks.😀
Hi Debs,
What you want is the default setting so something is over-riding it.

Hi Debs,
The form looks fine and when I submit I just see your 'thank you' message.
How do you have it set up on your site? Is it in it's own page or are you using the module or the mambot/plugin?
Bob
Hi,
I have both the module and chronocontact plugin enabled. I did originally have the code {chronocontact}form1{/chronocontact} inserted into an article but couldn't get the form to work so took this out. I'm not sure exactly what the plugin does and even if I need both enabled. The other issue I have is that I have an article I'd like to appear before the form but the form's default position seems to be at the top. Is there anyway to get round this?
Thanks.
Hi again,
Sorry, I've just remembered something else too! Is there a setting I can use so that the submitted form bypasses my junk mail folder and goes straight into my inbox as every email is being seen as spam.
Thank you!
Hi Debs,
The spam problem isn't a ChronoForms one - something to do with the way you have emails set up either in ChronoForms or in your email box, or maybe what your ISP is seeing. Hard to comment without seeing any examples.
Make sure that the From Email (and possibly the ReplyTo Email) addresses match your site domain.
Have a subject line that doesn't look like spam.
Whitelist the From Email address at your isp and in your email manager.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the email advice. I've now whitelisted the domain so it's working fine now. Do you have anymore advice on the form reappearing when submitted as this is a real issue for users. Is it something to do with the plugin and module?
Also I would really like to change the position of the form to come after my article on the page. Can I do this?
Thanks
Hi Debs,
Sorry, I missed your earlier post - can you post a link to the form so I can take a look?
Bob
Hi Debs,
You have the form in a Module so it's showing up alongside the 'Thank you' text.
If you want it to appear after the 'article text' then the easiest solution is to add the article text to the beginning of the Form HTML. That will solve both problems.
Bob
Hi,
Thank you so much for your help. I turned the module off and inserted the form at the end of the article and like you said, it's solved both problems. I've been sat here for about a week trying to sort this.
I'm extremely grateful! 😀 😀 😀
