Creating Search Filter

Ubutux 05 Apr, 2009
Hi

I'm trying to use Chronoforms to make some kind of a search filter.

I use Joomla 1.5 and Eventlist. I've a Venues table filled with name, zip code, etc.

What I would like to do is a simple search filter with option like:
[CATEGORY]
[ZIP CODE]
[DATE]
etc

I've searched on this forum and it seems possible to do so with Chronoconnectivity, but the topic I found about it doesn't give any link about a code or something

If someone could help me it would be very nice

No ideas?

Hum... I don't know what to do because I didn't find any Joomla Extension doing this...

I think I will make my own filter with a good old SELECT * FROM table WHERE, ...

Hi Ubutux,

I think that there is a ChronoConnectivity worked example in the forums here that describes how to do this.

Hi Bob

Thank you for your quick answer! 🙂

Do you mean this topic about Search Filter?

I tried this code without any success.😟

This is my first time with Chronoconnectivity so I'm not really used to it.

Have a nice day (or night I don't know...)

Hi Ubutux,

whats the code for the input file you use to do the search and what code did you use in the WHERE statement like my code in that topic ?
