I see no tutorial for creating a database table in phpmyadmin that will work for ChronoConnectivity.
I have no idea how to create the code needed for this to work!
I have access to a mysql database, and can create a new database, no problem!
BUT..... what do i fill that table with to get it to work with ChronoConnectivity?
Is there NO pdf or tutorial that starts with the steps for creating a new database, then the implementation of ChronoConnectivity?
All the tutorials I have found assume you already have data in a database, Which I dont!
I like the look and ease of this component for the front end users, and i need this to display my rates and services and faqs!
Now, It seems people talk of a joomla database, I may have this and be unaware of this. i have the very newest vesion of Joomla! ( 1.5.10 )
Please someone HELP! Im sure there are others like me who wish to use this but dont know how! (max please help me!)😲

Hi everettccs,
ChronoForms is intended and designed to display data from a database table. You can create a form to input data in ChronoForms and use that to create a table and add data to it but it's a bit of a long way round. Otherwise you can create a table in PHPMyAdmin and enter data there.

what data do i add there?
all i need is something as simple as:
Question (click) pop up answer.
or under services:
late payment (click) description and rate
Is this a tough question? or is it too simple to explain?

Also I am not speaking about chrono forms. i was inquiring about chrono connectivity. are the two different aspects of the same product?
So there isnt a guide for creating a new database and setting it up for FAQ's through ChronoConnectivity?
)sigh(
Sometimes i wish i was in construction, or a truck driver or something........................ :?

Hi everettccs,
Apologies that should have read "ChronoConnectivity is intended and designed to display data from a database table." - it was late in the evening :-(
A lot of other posts to read now - I'll maybe get back to this one later.

ok, i copied the sample table found on the homepage.
now once i set up the form and saved, i got this:
"The connected table does NOT have a primary key, please add a primary key to your table or some functions will not work correctly"
then once i enabled and clicked on the link i got this:
"You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 SQL=SELECT count(*) FROMYou are not allowed to access this page!"
Boy i really dont understand this stuff!
