Joomla 1.5 RC1

GreyHead 23 Jul, 2007
Hi,

Joomla 1.5 RC1 was released over the weekend. Initial testing appears to show that, with one change, ChronoForms will run in legacy mode.

If you want to try the current release (2.2.1) please substitute the chronoforms.xml file in the attached zip file (see next post for the latest version). You'll also need to turn on the legacy plugin before you can install.

The problems I have seen so far is that there is a layout problem in the administrator, and an error message shows up in my test install because Joomla can't instantiate sendmail.

I'll post anything more that I find here.

I have managed to modify the .xml file to make an install work on joomla 1.5 beta's and nightly builds.

To do so unzip and paste the attatched .xml file in a 2.1 unzipped chronoengine installation before zipping it again and installing it in your joomla backend.

But it still looks horrible in my backend. When i try your suggestion i receive an .xml failure (could not find.. [file name=chronocontact-bbaf1ba9e75b8753d3d8893718ba8032.zip size=4042]http://www.chronoengine.com/components/com_fireboard/uploaded/files/chronocontact-bbaf1ba9e75b8753d3d8893718ba8032.zip[/file]
