Form Isn't Shown

Jhazzi 30 Mar, 2009
My brain is scrambled.
I upgraded to the latest release. The form was 'almost' working before the upgrade. I just could not find the data that was submitted. I came here and discovered a new version with features such as editing the form made with the wizard. That is the only way I know how to create a form.

I uninstalled the last version and the mambot then installed the current version and mambot. I don't think I need the module. I created the form using the wizard. Created the db table (but had to delete the existing db table as I used the same name for the form).

I know how to use the mambot to show the form in an article. I know how to create a menu item using ChronoForm component, as well. I've done both with the new version but the form doesn't show.

I think I knew what I was doing with setting up email notification but one thing different I noticed now is the email template isn't automatically filled in for me as it was in the last version.

My problem: How do I get the form visible?

What do you need from me to help me out. I am as green as they come but can follow basic instructions.

I've read so many Q&A's here until I'm totally confused. Help?!?!? Please? 🤣

Thanks and kindest regards,

Hi Jhazzi,

this is the shortest path to see a form you created:

#1- go to the wizard and drag and drop any random fields, then hit save!
#2- right now, you should be transferred by the wizard to the "forms manager" and there is a message tells you "your form is created and you can now edit it..."
#3- click the small red X in the new form row to make it published!
#4- click the form link in the forms manager, now you should see your form!

there is a full tutorial under Downloads/Chronoforms tutorials/

Cheers
