Hi yragrace,

this looks like a JS conflict with this template, if the template is using JQuery or prototype libraries then this will be the cause!

is there any solution with this??

Hi,

your template is using the prototype JS library which is interfering with the mootools and the validation, you should change your template or stop it from loading this!

what should i do to stop it from loading???
can you please help me??? thanks.

This is very dependent on your template config and code, somebody should go there and inspect the template files in order to find if it can be disabled and how and if there will be any side effects!

at the moment this is really too hard as I'm very busy, the issue is far away from Chronoforms too and may cause problems!

many users faced the same issue before and was able to fix it themselves, you need to go to the template manager and choose to edit HTML and find and remove the line which calls prototype then save, however, pay attention that doing this may result in stopping some of your template functions from working correctly!

you may also post at the professional services forum here or at Joomla.org for somebody to do this very easy task for 5 bucks or so! but you can really do it yourself!

Cheers,
