Chronoforms response

Robmcp 02 Mar, 2009
Hi can anyone help with this question from a complete beginner?

I have Chronoforms installed on a site, when a visitor fills in a form I get a response email listing all the fields that they filled in, and the data is posted to the database ok.

The question I have relates to some functionality that there is with another addin RSFormsPro.
On that I fill in a form, I as the site owner recieve a mail saying Joe bloggs filled in this information.
The data goes onto the database, and finally...... What I want.
The person filling in a form gets an email, saying thanks blah blah etc.

Is the equivalent possible in Chronoforms? i.e. can I send a form to me as the site owner, and to the person filling in the form?
I currently have a redirect set so when they click SEND the redirect page says thanks for filling in the form.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Robmcp,

If you have ChronoForms v3.0 or 3.1 the you can set up multiple emails in the Email setup tab. Each one has it's own Email template.

You can use a ReDirect URL to a thank you page, or you can just add html + php in one of the OnSubmit boxes and it will be displayed after the form is submitted. This makes it simple to create a custmised thank you page.

Thanks for the quick response, sorry for my slow response, being an absolute beginner, I cannot find where to check for the version number. I am almost certain that it won't be 3 though.
Any other suggestions?

Hi Robmcp.

Upgrade to version 3 ????

Otherwise there are posts here telling you how to send second emails from v 2.5 and earlier but you'll need to go back a while.
