Hi all,
I was wondering if it is possible to create a form on the website for vehicle shipping price quote calculator. Here is an example <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcnutttransport.com">www.mcnutttransport.com</a><!-- w -->. I already have chronoforms downloaded and posted on our joomla website here is the link http://www.aaexpresscarrier.com/, the website is far from finished, but this calculator will be our primary focus. I don't know if it is at all possible and how much time it's going to take. Please let me know if you are interested and how much do you think it's going to cost and how long will it take.

this can be done, however this calculator is using some hidden JS to do the calculations, are you going to use the same typical rates ? or need new ones ? if new then do you have them ? based on the complexity of the calculations the time and cost will vary!

Do you have the background php that drives the calculator. If you do then it's probably quite a simple job to implement.

If not . . . hard to tell.

Thank you guys for responding so quickly. I am not sure about background php, Bob can you please be more specific about it? We also have a formula for price calculation based on miles-vehicle size, so answering your question Max we will have our own rates. After the miles are calculated there is only one variable vehicle size. With calculating miles, someone told me that there is a mapquest platform you can use to do zip code calculations. Here is their web developer page http://developer.mapquest.com/home I don't know much about coding just basic stuff and enough to work with joomla:) If you have any more ideas about our curios case can you please PM or post when you can we are trying to finish the website asap, but the person who initially promised us that calculator has some issues right now.
