Where Have I Gone Wrong?

Dodong 24 Feb, 2009
I am completely new with Chronoforms. I completed the setup of a form, but when I tested it, the form does not send the information to the site's admin username. Here's the direct URL of the site's form. Click Here.

I guess my problem is that I don't know how to set up the destination email of the form. How shall I set up the destination email?

Hi Dodong,

Please check the Email tutorial in the Downloads area here. It has answers to most questions about email setup.

Thanks Bob for directing me to the download area.

I have followed all the instruction, but the drop down menu for "Enabled" (Yes or No) Email is not working. It remained greyed out. What could be the problem?

I have the same question as Dodong. My enabled button is also grayed out. I used Chronoforms on another site and its enabled button was also grayed our however the grayed out setting was "yes" and this site's form would email its contents from the form. The site I'm working on now has a grayed out "no" and it will not email the form contents. Both sites were set up in the Forms Manager the same way. Only different forms were used and different "To" email addresses.

Thanks Nanu for your feedback. At least I am not alone in this struggle. All I need is that the greyout "Enabled" can be set to YES. And that's the problem since the drop down menu never moves.

Hi Dodong and manu,

Please check with the tutorial for the Email settings - you must have To, Subject, From Name and From Email boxes (or their Dynamic versions) before you can enable the email.

Hi Bob,

I have done all that. I have followed all the instruction. The problem is that the Enabled option continues to be greyed-out despite the fact that all has been set up accordingly.

Hi Dodong,

I'm out of ideas at at that point. By all means email or PM me a SuperAdmin logon and I'll take a closer look.

Hi Max,

I did click apply. I will send the login info to Bob. Hopefully he may be able to look into this issue.

Thank you.

Hi Dodong,

There was no Email setup, I've created one and sent you test from the form.

Hello Bob,

Thank you so much for your ocean of generosity. So kind of you to help me fix me this issue. Now I am thinking of incorporating an autoresponder.

Again, thanks Bob!

God bless,
Dodong M
