hi rahil_777,

Please search the forums for this error message, there are several threads discussing it.

Is the form on-line? If so please post a link, it's impossible to tell exactly what's happeing from just the error message.

Hi rahil_777,

This looks like a problem with session tokens not being saved correctly. Joomla writes a token into the form and checks on submission to see if the form is being submitted from the same session as a security measure.

If you search here on 'session token' you should find some suggestions to comment out this code!

i have checked out the code but i did not found any problem with session token

is there anything else?

i have just created form using form wizard of the Chronoform v 3.0 stable

the form is not online anymore or is unpublished ???!! but do you have any <form tags inside and try to change the session handler under then global config too ?

I get this error message. I am using Chronoform 3 and Joomla 1.5.9.

What I am attempting to do it to copy the form code of a form that is working perfectly inside the website, but when I copy the code (which by the way I did in another site, but that was Joomla 1.0.15 version and older version of Chronoform) to a blank site in Dreamweaver and call on it in the browser the redirect doesn´t work, and neither does sending email or saving to database. The form doesn´t have the <form> </form> in the Chronoform component.

Could this have something to do with the cache ? because this seems to work sometimes.

I would appreciate your help,

Hi eddaathygli.

I think this is because you have Joomla installed in a sub-folder. There are some odd things that happen with permissions . . . search the forums and you may find a fix.

I did work out a solution for the issue I was having by making a blank template for Joomla 1.5 in the website and then open the form in a new window, but within the site and it works like a charm.

@eddaathygli, thanks for sharing your solution!🙂

@sirfanlunar, please check your form code, do you have a "<form" or "</form>" tag in there ? how did you create your form ? can you try to change your site default template to something else and retry ?

I'm having the same problems. My form gives the "you are not allowed to access this URL" message. I have tried everything mentioned in the forums and still no luck. It's been tested with various browsers including IE and Firefox. The form works half the time. I've tried having the form on it's own or in an article and still no luck.

I'm using Joomla 1.5.9, and chronoforms 3.0. Here is the link to my form http://mpc-web.mit.edu/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=142&Itemid=423.

I need this fixed ASAP, can someone please help me. I've used chronoforms before with no problems and since I upgraded, it's been giving me nothing but problems. Please help.

Hi Maria,

I just tested the form 3 times and it worked every time! the last test I provided some test data! can you test it from another PC or clean your cache, the error happens randomly and I can't track it down...

Hi Maria,

I just did the same . . . you might try lengthening the session time on your site. This is a long form and people could just be timing out between loading and submitting.

Thanks for the quick response.

The problem only happens some of the times. I have tried it on several computers and with different browsers. I don't get the problem when I submit the form but people submitting the form have been having problems (only occurs half the time). I had already cleaned my cache out and my joomla session time is 90 minutes. Plenty of time to submit the form.

Is there another place where I need to change the session time?

Thanks!

Hi Maria,

No, only the one place to change the session time that I know about. Is the session data being held in the database?

I think I'd feel inclined to remove the session token check from the code and see if that helps.
