Hi guys
I really need some help on this. I have created 3 forms on my website, one being a registration form
<!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.soulam.co.uk/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&Itemid=87">www.soulam.co.uk/index.php?option=com_c ... &Itemid=87</a><!-- w -->
<!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.soulam.co.uk/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&Itemid=62">www.soulam.co.uk/index.php?option=com_c ... &Itemid=62</a><!-- w -->
<!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.soulam.co.uk/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&Itemid=83">www.soulam.co.uk/index.php?option=com_c ... &Itemid=83</a><!-- w -->
All the validation works, and the forms re direct correctly to the thank you pages on completion. All the emails are enabled, and all correctly had the green box when enabled. Email results to admin and user are both turned on and email is turned on.
No emails are sent either to admin or to the user, and nothing gets written to the database. No custom code has been written, and this is the debug message I get from the Registration form
_POST: Array ( [text_2] => Tony [text_4] => [email]tony@tonicdesigns.co.uk[/email] [text_8] => [text_9] => scarface [text_10] => scarface [text_11] => scarface [chrono_verification] => vQCkt [undefined] => Register me now [2a8338f13ec7f52547248017ccd0e725] => 1 )

Hi scarface,
It looks as though you may need to set From & ReplyTo names and email addresses. Please make sure that you sent with a *different* email address from the From/ReplyTo address.
Bob
Hi Greyhead
thanks for the reply. I did that on the registration form. Still no email and this is what the debug gave me

Hi GreyHead
sorry to sound ignorant but can you explain what you mean by From Name Set and what I need to do
Thanks
Hi GreyHead
I thought it maybe because I did not have a DB connection, to pointed the for to the jos_users table, but still nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Hi scarface,
I think one or both of these is missing in the General Tab.
Bob
Hi Bob
my general tab looks a little different, but I change the from field in the email set up tab???

Hi scarface,
Apologies, for some reason I thought you were using the older version of ChronoForms.
Do you have Emails Enabled:1 Disabled:0 showing in the Forms Manager view (the list of all your forms)?
Bob
Hey Bob
no problem. Yes all forms have emails Enabled 1 Disabled 0
Thanks
Hey Bob
just wondered if you had any more thoughts my issue? I would really appreciate any help
Thanks
Hi scarface,
Yes, please take a screen shot of the Email Setup tab for me. Something's still missing here, I just don't quite know what :-(
Bob
PS It's 11 pm here - I'm off to watch Life so back in the morning.
Hey Bob
hope this helps. The reg form is actually writing to the jos_users table, but blank entries.

Thanks
Hi scarface, I can't view any of your .tiff images, can you post a common format please ?🙂

Hi Max
try these. I think this might be a little deeper than just the forms, as I'm not getting any emails at all - not even the forgotten password emails, so not sure if somethings gone a stray during the configuration process??

Hi scarface,
That 'Dynamic From Email' requires that you have a Feild named Admin with a valid email address as the value. I don't think that you do; please replace that box with a static From Email box and put a valid address in there.
Bob
Hey Bob
ok have tried that but still no luck. The form seems as though it is doing all the right things, going to the thank you page, but no emails!!
Tony
interestingly the registration page is now going to a 403 error message when submitted??
Hi scarface, you have "enable registration disabled" at joomla config ? the plugin depends on joomla config too!

Hey Max
yes that fixed that issue thanks. I turned it off because eventhough I linked the Joomla Registration plug in with my registration form I did in ChronoForms, it still linked to Joomlas default page.
I still am not receiving any emails though.
Thanks for your help
Tony
Hi Tony,
which emails you are not getting ? registration ones or setup emails in the form ?
did yo read the last step of the Joomla registration PDF tutorial at the Downloads area/ CF tutorials ?

Hey Max
yes that all works fine now, as I've changed the default.php and all go to the correct registration page. The issue I have is that I am receiving none of the emails from any one of the 3 forms I have. So no registration activation email, and no emails from the other forms.
All the forms have email enabled, and I have done all the tests Bob suggested, but while everything else seems to work, no emails are forthcoming.
Thanks
Tony
Hi Tony,
Registration emails to be configured in the plugin config screen, for other emails, show me a screenshot for the "setup emails" tab!

Hi,
I am having the same issues as Tony with current version. No emails get delivered to static or dynamic email accounts.
My configuration looks exactly the same (apart from recipient email address).
I have spent hours on this and getting nowhere. Debug tells me everything is OK, but something is wrong somewhere.
I have earlier versions of the component running on other sites with no issues.
Hi jmccann,
Can I see the debug please ?
