User detail page related to Joomla registration plugin.

vdlkris 01 Dec, 2008
Hello,

I made succesfully my new registration form. Added and connect to a different table in the database. ( As suggested on this site ).
In the original joomla registration you can ' edit your details ' as when you want to edit the details of your user account in this website ( chronoengine.com ) .
What I want is to redirect the user to the page ' edit your details ' and let them see the information they added when they registrate.
I hope you know what I mean

Thanks,
Kris

Hi Kris,

For this you need ChronoConnectivity at the moment, I will add a special Chronoforms plugin for this later.

Hi Kris,

this is not done yet, but my current schedule says that the new Chronoforms version should be ready later this week and if this happened then I will have more time and free mind to start improving other functions like the profile plugin to add this feature, so please check back by Friday or so to find the news!🙂

Cheers

Hi,

Any solution for Edit Your Details page now? I seems can't find it anywhere...

Hi bubblesugar,

I think you are looking for the Profile plugin - check the left hand column on the Form Manager page.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for reply, I get it.

I tried it but not successful. Before that, I have used CC to show the form and I think I will stick with CC for this. My problem now is how can I put the edit link under Login module to allow the logged-in user to edit his/her profile only after he/she is logged in.

If I can't achieve this by using CC, can I achieve this using CF with profile plugin? Please advise.

yes, and if you need to edit one page only then this is better!
