french users of ChronoForm

I test this for a few days and its great !
I'ill just looking if there are some french users and if its possible to get a french "zone" in this forum.
i am interesting to translate it

Thank you very much for the offer, indeed we rarely get real french questions but I believe there are many french users but they try to ask in English or french and Bob can talk in francais tres bien🙂 adding a french zone is not a problem but we will lose the topics classifications, may be you or Bob have better reasons to start a french zone, if any then please let me know!

and unfortunately Chronoforms will not support language files for admin area at the moment!

J'en profite pour vous demander votre aide. J'ai regardé un peu partout sur le forum, mais j'ai un peu de mal à trouver une solution claire pour intégrer paypal avec chronoform. Quelqu'un aurait une solution pas à pas et en français ?? 😛

Quel plaisir de lire quelques compatriotes !
Mon anglais parlé n'est pas mauvais, mais pour l'écrit j'ai toujours quelques hésitations... J'ai déjà interpellé Bob sur deux ou trois sujets et nous nous somme très bien compris LOL...

Mais quel beau cadeau de Noël de la part de "Santa Claus" Bob ou Max, si nous pouvions avoir une "section" ou nous pourrions partager entre nous nos expériences... Dans notre langue maternelle... Et si un Bob ou Max traînent par là, ce ne pourrait être que du bonheur !

Hi/Salut! French mate here too.
But I agree with Max. To create a french section could be useful but we could loose the interest of sharing our experiences with CF. So, until chinese is not the international language, we should still talk english (as I guess is much easier to learn/write/understand than chinese 8))
And if you're no confident with english, Google translate is our friend.
By the way, I' still looking for french ini language files for CF.

Je suis sous joomla 1.7.3 et je n'arrive pas à rendre mes champs obligatoires. J'ai bien coché la case "required" et mis "Enable JS Validation" sur "yes". Mais je peux toujours envoyer mon formulaire avec tous les champs vide. Y a t-il un autre paramètre à regler.

Hi Pascal,

Your template (or some other component) is loading two different versions of the jQuery JavaScript library. Out of the box jQuery isn't compatible with the MooTools library used by Joomla! and ChronoForms. You can use jQuery with MooTools in no-conflict mode. There are various ways of doing this. The simplest is to add a line of script in the ChronoForms Form JavaScript box:

jQuery.noConflict();

This will free the $ operator which is used by MooTools, so you may need to update your own javascripts to use the longer jQuery operator.

Hi Pascal,

I'm sorry but there is very little help I can give you with this. JQuery isn't a standard library on Joomla! sites and if you chosse to use it then you have to make sure that it doesn't break the other components on your site - like ChronoForms :-(

I fix the problem. I update the jquery script and i move the code jQuery.noConflict(); in my template.

Now it works.
