ChronoForms v8 is now WordPress ready, ChronoMails is out

Connect to db other than joomla's

I think ChronoConnectivity may be just what I need, but I have one question. I have a mysql db that is outside of joomla; I prefer not to mix the two. Is there a way to connect?
