Need help with emailing forms

Diannef 12 Jul, 2007
I've tried following the tutorials and searching through the forums, but no matter what I try, all I receive is an email with the IP address and none of the form fields.

I need the form to come to both me (as admin) and to one other person .. not the sender.

Can you walk me through the setup for this please?

Thank you!

Hi Diannef,

Just a few questions first please.

Which version of ChronoForms are you using - latest is 2.2.1?

What do you have in the Form HTML field - please copy and paste here?

What setting do you have in the ChronoForms Configuration - 'Fields Titles' or 'My Template'?

Thanks

Bob

PS Please see this post which tells you how to create the form from the tutorial.

To send it to two email addresses put a list like'user1@example.com, user2@example.com' in the 'Email Address(es)' field.

Thank you!

I ended up having to re-design my form - that was the problem. Whatever program I had originally created it in, it didn't place the quotes around the field values etc.

Once I did that, I confirmed against the link you provided me with and voila .. the form works now and is sending email to both addresses listed🙂

Hi Diannef,

Excellent. I should have thought of that possibility - it came up a week or so ago. These forms must have attribute values in quotes.
