What all do I need?

I apologize in advance for how ignorant I am of these things, but I just don't understand a lot. I run a maid service company and I am trying to add a quote page to our website that simply has several fields asking the user for information and then have it e-mail the information to me so I can e-mail them back a quote.

The contacts page works fine on our website. Users are able to use this page, fill in the boxes, and press submit to send me questions. On our domain, my e-mails weren't getting through spam filters, so I signed up for google apps and so my mail is not hosted locally. I use smtp with authentication for the e-mail settings in my joomla server configuration.

My question is this: when I'm using chronoforms, am I going to have to do a ton of configuring to get it to use this method of sending an e-mail? I was really hoping that somehow I could add the forms similar to the contact forms and have them use my site's mail settings.

Could someone shed some light on what I would need to do?

Thank you

Hi AaronYoq,

ChronoForms will normally send mail using your Joomla set up, so this should work OK for you. Create a simple test form and try it out.

Bob, thanks so much. I had created a test form, I just didn't notice e-mail was still disabled because I hadn't set it to enabled in the e-mail properties area. It works perfectly.

I'll probably be getting a license when I get everything else operational.

Thanks again,

Aaron
