Great to have this in needed language. However, I can't install it. Trying with the zip file makes Joomla (latest version) say "XML file not found". Unzipped there is only an ini-file, which of corse isn't possible to install with the installer in Joomla. Do I need to exchange some file somewhere or how?
Thanks!
Zelda
:)
see at this post where the ini files should go depending on your language :
http://www.chronoengine.com/forums/index.php?option=com_chronoforums&cont=posts&f=19&t=11180#p14256
so if your language is espanol then you will replace hu-HU with es-ES I think, so you must have the espanol installed as a language in joomla itself, get the espanol joomla language pack from joomla.org!
Cheers
Max
Joomla/administrator/language/fr-FR/
and then put these two small file right in there:fr-FR.com_chronocomments.ini
fr-FR.mod_chronocomments.ini
And its should work?? Cause sadly for me its doesnt seem to work, actully not even sure all i need is to change the message of This field is required to something else in french would work but is that what i need to do??
From the downlaods page
These downloads are language translation packs for ChronoComments.
Note that not all packs contain all the possible language files. The full list is:
* language/xx-XX/xx-XX.com_chronocomments.ini
* administrator/language/xx-XX/xx-XX.com_chronocomments.ini
Note The two xx-XX.com_chronocomments.ini files are identical.
* language/xx-XX/xx-XX.plg_content_ChronoComments.ini
* language/xx-XX/xx-XX.mod_chronocomments.ini (not in use)

Thank in advance
Joomla should automatically switch to use the default language for your site. Sorry, I don't know much about language configuration.

Alright i was just wondering if u could provide me with the latest version for french translation. Cause on the download page their is only two file witch one is the mod and apparently Chrono doesnt used that if i read properly the other forum. And i saw a french version earlyer on the forum but i am not to sure if its the right one. Just a link to the current one would be awsome i guess.
And their is no other way to translate this field is required? Custom message throught one of the windows??
Thanks!

Which files needs to be translated, i can make a translation from English, but which file?
Please give me a hint. THNX.
Found it: i changed components/com_chronocontact/jsmooValidation.js
Not a nice way.. but it works..
Moovalidation (and the mor recent LiveValidation in RC 4.11) supports custom error messages in the input title attribute - you could easily use some PHP to make this bilingual.
Movvalidation also supports custom error messages in separate divs that can be placed anywhere on the page.

I think, we need translate our forms ourselves. Every form is diferent.
I think, I copy my Lithuanian form, copy its HTML codes, translate it in English, German and make links in english and german website versions. Is this OK?
But I don't understand where and how should work chronocomments ?
Sorry, I hadn't noticed that this was the ChronoComments forum.
There are some language packs for ChronoComments in the download area and you can create your own by translating one of these and renaming the files to the new language.
Bob
2. Could you say something about comments, Where they appear? Below form? I have installed them, ho to configure them, is there any help?
We are in the ChronoComments Forusm here - which product are you asking about?
I don't know anything much about ChronoComments, I think that they appear after articles.
There are several ways to translate forms. The Multi-language plugin is good if there are only short text labels. If tehre are longer chunks of text then using a switch statement with different forms or different include files works well. I think that separate forms take too much maintentnace and I wouldn't use that approach.

Hi Beata,
I don't know anything much about ChronoComments, I think that they appear after articles.
Bob
You are creator of chronoforms and don't know about them???
I thought chronoforms are related only with forms, if no, I don't need them in this my website.
There are simple joomlacomments as well.
Go to see answer about multilanguage plugin....
No, I'm not the creator - that's Max (aka Admin here).
I know ChronoForms and ChronoConnectivity pretty well, don't know much about ChronoComments.
ChronoForms are about forms. ChronoComments is like JomComments.
Bob
My website is simple hotel and I think I don't need some comments.
What about ChronoConnectivity... I didn't investigate yet, what it is.....
This will be in future
I care now how to translate my forms into 3 languages 😟
I don't use ChronoComments and don't know much about it. My understanding is that you just need to upload the translation files to the appropriate folder.
If you have display problems then you will need to check through the character sets used and maybe edit the files to use HTML entities.
Bob
where can i find the chronocomments translations?
Try to look here http://www.chronoengine.com/downloads/2-chronocomments.html
