Hi,

When I remove the 'Whole Form Data' option from the Data Sets field in the database action Save Data and Apply (save) the form, close it en re-open the form: the 'Whole From Data' option re-appears.
This makes my form inserting incomplete data, as I do not have all fields mentioned in the form.

It seams that if I re-open the form and do NOT open (un-collaps) the Save Data action, the form still works after Applying it.

If it is really an option I can remove, I would expect that it will not re-appear automatically.
Could you please check? Or give me a hint on what I miss, do not understand or do wrong?

Additionally... I used the demo form Basic Article List and opened the Save Article action and did not change a thing, Applied, re-opened the form, and there it is, the Whole Form Data' re-appears as by magic. Causing the form not to update anymore.
Can someone confirm this behavior? Maybe it's something on my installation (standard Joomla 3.10 though).

It is really unfortunate that this is still an issue in CF7.
It caught me up again in the J3 to J4 migration. Took a while until I remembered the above again....

I agree, this is really annoying. I wonder why not more users have the problem. CF 7.0.10 - Site J4.4.1 (bis 10/2025) - PHP 8.2 - MariaDB 10.6
