I am wondering if there is already any news on that migration tool...
https://www.chronoengine.com/forums/posts/t108480/v6-to-v7-migration
There was no answer to that post any more so I assume not yet?
Would be greatly appreciated as we have to upgrade hundreds of forms in the next few months.
Kind regards,
Terry
Hi
Don't wait after that... The developer is out for the time.
I have a ton of forms too in CF6, they work perfectly.
I've tried CF7, too difficult, and without an upgrade path having to re-write everything again does not sound like fun.
So since I have to "start from scratch" I have been experimenting with other form builders out there that are Joomla 4 and PHP 8 compatible. None come to the same standard of CF6 in my opinion.
I just don't know what to do here😟
v6 forms importer in v7 is on the todo list, but as for the v5 importer, it can not import everything in the form because the form structure is different, but hopefully this will be ready in the next few weeks!
In the mean time you can experiment with v7 and watch the videos on youtube

Sorry Max. They are in the old forum!
But I have an Excel file (in french language) where I describe some bugs...
Ok, I will try to bring the old forums categories back soon.
