On the last page ("Thank you page" after sending) of a contact formular I want to include the value of a field which is on the first page, into a custom html unit.
For Example: "Dear {data:field_text17}, thank you ..."
But this doesn't work. Is the syntax wrong? Do I need a local variable? What is to do?

I'm not sure exactly how this works in CFv7 but you can try enabling the Debugger output on the last page - that will show you what data is available there.
