Joomla Proxy and component validation

Validate a Joomla component through a proxy server.

Overview

The component is not using the proxy settings from the Joomla configuration, causing a firewall block.
Ensure the component can make a direct external URL call without requiring specific proxy definitions.

Hi All,

We have our Joomla server connected to the outside world via a proxy.

In trying to validate the component after purchase our firewall is blocking the connection. It appears to be skipping the proxy server all together.

I've responded to the email with support.

But no, still not working as the component doesn't appear to be picking up the proxy settings from the Joomla configuration.

generally it should work with proxy, just make sure the component can call a url directly without defining proxy settings!
