Multi Page doesn't work correctly

Resolve multi-page form not advancing correctly in ChronoForms.

Overview

The issue occurs due to an incorrectly configured "Display section" action in older CF versions, which prevents page navigation from updating the submit button and content.
Ensure the "Display section" action is properly set to show the correct page containers. Upgrading to CF v7 is recommended as it resolves this configuration issue automatically.

Hi,
long time no see -b ut now I face an unknown problem: I copied a well functioning multi page structure from another domain, which doesn't work on the new site. URL and debugger show the right events (-> page2 -> page3 -> submit) BUT both submit button and content remain that of page1. How can submit button#1 trigger page3? Mysterious.

Have a quick look to observe here: https://www.drogenfreie-erziehung.de/index.php?option=com_chronoforms5&chronoform=AnmeldungPfingsten_xtd

The functioning site and the non functioning run both with Joomla 3.9.23 - only the php version is different: 7.3.22-nmm1 vs. 7.2.24. Can that be the cause?

Thx for help!

Answer
I think it's because of the "Display section" action, you should configure it correctly in v5 or v6 for multi pages to work correct, this is not an issue in v7, I strongly recommend that you use v7 for any new forms which can work on the same website with v5

Sorry, I don't understand your answer: what is a "Display section"? I have three containers of type "page" in "Designer" tab and four events in "Setup" tab: On load, On submit, On page2 and On page3. What is configured incorrectly where?

In order to display the Designer fields in v5 you have to use the "HTML" action, correct ? that's where you set the page name!
