Cant upload files when calling CF6 form in CC6

I am using a CF6 form to upload documents. When I edit an entry through CC6 I call the CF6 form and can make all edits except uploading the documents. I think I am missing a step or have misconfigured CC6. Do I need to have a function created in CC6 to allow the document upload?
