Dynamic result commands

Tried searching the forums and the documentation but unable to find information on this. Does anyone know a list of commands that can be used for dynamic AJAX features under "Dynamic result"? Or is it something obvious?

From the demos, I know the following actions:

1. remove
2. replace
3. /closest
4. /self

Eg, what command do we use to hide/show elements?

I think they're standard jQuery commands
