Can't validate Chronoforms on localhost

pat01 24 Oct, 2018
Hi

I have a valid key for a local domain (temp4.off). If I try to validate I get following error message:

  • CURL Error: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate
  • We could not connect to the chronoengine.com web server.

  • This is new. So far I always could validate Chronoforms on a local installation.
What can I do to validate? I can't use SSL on my local PC with localhost.

    Thank you very much!

    Hi Patrick,

Please use the Contact Menu above to ask Max about validation questions. I think that in this case he may suggest switching to an Elastic subscription that doesn't need to contact the chronoengine site.

    Hi Bob and thank you

The Elastic validation gives same error message :-(

    Will contact Max.

    Hi

    Max did provide a solution:

I had to enter the validation key AND the serial number. Then it worked. I still got the curl error message but the validation was successful anyway.
