It was suggested that I "build your own custom registration form and add 1 extra hidden field, with a validation against being completed". I'm using CF5 and trying to deter bots. Can you point me in the direction of a tutorial or suggest the easiest way to accomplish this using Chronoforms V5?

I'm not clear what a 'a validation against being completed' is?? It sounds as though it might be a form of Captcha - you could describe a classic HoneyPot Captcha like this.

With CFv5 it will probably be simpler to use the Google ReCaptcha instead. That seems to be pretty good at blocking spam.
