Hello,
I've used V4 and V5 on several sites in the past. Today I wanted to add a new site I am building and chose V6 for download.
The V6 version will not install on the site, I get a 'copy file failed'.
As far as I know all permission are good (checked with Admin Tools).
The funny thing is, V5 installs without any problems.
Any idea what can cause this?
Kind Regards, Ed

Hi Ed,
Does the message tell you which file failed to copy? That might give a clue.

Hi Bob,
That didn't tell it at first, just the 'copy failed' message.
In the meantime I've installed V5.
When I try it again I get this: (see image)
Let me translate:
Error:
Unable to write entry
Error installing package
Warning:
Installpath doesn't exist
There was an error while installing extension cegcore2.zip

Hi Ed,
That sounds like problems with the permission settings on the server that aren't allowing the files to be written to the libraries folder.

Hi Bob,
Got it!
The website had only about 32MB free disk space.
After increasing the available disk space on the host, installation went well.
