The new CF6 uses a custom font in the component? In Chrome this font is not always very readable... Especially the smaller and thinner versions. Just wanted to let you guys know...
Kind regards,
Jip
I know CF as a component is almost a 'stands alone' app and loads in its own container inside Joomla. But by using a different font, the difference in look and feel from the rest of the Joomla backend gets even bigger. There are probably good reasons to develop CF this way. But the font itself is just not that readable, especially on smaller, thinner text. That's a shame.
When I look at the Semantic UI website I don;t see this. But maybe they just don't use small fonts? Or is it something else?
I also notice the readability on this form is also not that great... also Lato... IS just a bit to 'thin'.
It's not a big deal though. Just something I notice.
Changing the font-weight to 500 increases the readabilty very much. At least in Chrome....
Hi jj135,
Thank you, I will try to have this solved by the next update.

In Cf6, where can I change the font weight you mentioned? I find no setting for that and I can't even find any .css files.
Make those changes in the custom.css file of your backend's template, don't make changes to core CF files.
