OK I have opted to rebuild all the forms on this website using V6. We have a lot of forms that were imported from HTML forms and feel that V6 is the way to go.
However, when creating a "generic" request for quote form (we are rebuilding a dozen forms for products) and standard contact form, I have found that they are not submitting on the front end. They work perfectly on the back end, but not the front.
So I did the research and found a few posts that suggest:
1) Ticking NO for Relative URLs - The problem here is that I do not see this option anywhere in V6
2) May be a cache issue if you see "form=submit": in the URL after submitting - which I do see. But the Gantry template used has cache turned off
3) What I ended up doing is creating menu items directly to the ChronoForms form as opposed to pulling them into articles with the plugin. If we have to go this route then I guess we will. But I would rather style the page in the article and use the plugin for the form. Otherwise the plugin is of no use.
Any thoughts?
