Hello.
I created a form on my server with chronoformV5.
It seems very nice , but there is a problem.
After submit joomla says the form is sent.
But in my mailbox is not reflected on the form.
What is wrong
In the Annex, the code of the form.
Site is still offline.
Please give me a hint.
Frans
Hi Bob,
Well, after three days of puzzling, I still struggled with sending messages.
In the general settings, server, email settings set to PHP, messages are sent, but do not arrive.
Settings on smtp do arrive in the mailbox sender. By Testmail.
A simple form, sent viaPHP does not come true
A simple form sent via smtp gets a 505 error
In the form manager, I select the test form.
Go to top right settings.
Tune, the mail method, to the settings in the general settings website.
Both, first the php settings, second the smtp settings.
Both methods, no result
Hi vriesf,
Please remove the mail settings from ChronoForms - you only need those if you want to use a different server from the Joomla! one. By default CF uses the Joomla! settings.
Then please drag a Debugger action into the On Submit event, then submit the form and post the debug - including the 'dummy emails' results here.
Best wishes
Bob

Hi vriesf,
The "From email" should be somename@yourdomain, using a hotmail address may get your message blocked on the way.
Best regards,

Hi Max
see my settings in the attachment.
As a visitor of the website , filling the form my email is a hotmail adress
In the attachment there is no hotmailadress
Kind regards
Frans
Hi Frans,
Please remove the Reply To Name entry. It does nothing here and should only be used together with the Reply To Email.
In the Debugger output you posted Joomla! is reporting that both emails were successfully sent so it is most likely that they are being sent from the site but not delivered.
Bob
Hi Bob
You wrote "In the Debugger output you posted Joomla! is reporting that both emails were successfully sent so it is most likely that they are being sent from the site but not delivered. "
That's the issue
How to solve that.
I've been working for 3 days already
Hi Frans,
By all means PM me the site URL, the form name, and a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look.
Bob
Hi Frans,
I strongly recommend that you do *not* use the Dynamic From Email element in your Email Setups. Using this often results in your emails being marked as spam and dropped into a spam filter. Instead use the static From Email with an address that matches the site domain name and use Dynamic ReplyTo Email for the user email. The result is the same but with a much better chance of good delivery.
Bob
Well, Bob,
1 Settings on the servertab on PHP mail.
2 Sending a test mail succeed.
Message from Joomla
Send email to bloembinderij@benstempher.nl using PHP mail. Verify that you received the test email.
Testmail not received the mailbox.
Settings in the form as you adviced.
Mailsettings for the form , just leftin the default settings.
Sending the form with this answer:

Hi Frans,
It looks as though you now have no From Email or From Name set. That will definitely cause non-delivery.

Hi Frans,
Did you receive this one ? if not then try a different "To" address, and check your spam filter.
Best regards,
Max

Hi Frans,
And now you have the same To and From Email which may well result in the mail being dropped.
I think that this is all mentioned in the FAQ.
