How to put a table ID in my email template

I'm using in a form the DB save function.. And I like to sent the ID of DB field in an email.. But I can't find it how this works and I receive by submitting the form the code "Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function."

What do i wrong???

Anyone a suggestion?

If you add a Debugger action to the form On Submit event then you should be able to see where the ID is being saved. And if you copy and paste the Debugger output here we may be able to see what the Email problem is.

i dont know what a debugger action is so i don´t know what for output to put here...

It's an action in the Basic Actions group on the Setup tab or if you are using the Easy Wizard you can turn on Debug on the Others tab in CFv4 or the Setup tab in CFv5.
