Hi

I have a long form using 4 accordion sliders. When I click submit, the panels open and close one by one as the validation checks through the controls, and this is quite distracting. Is there a way to prevent this behaviour, or is necessary so that the validation routine stops on the correct tab and displays the validation error message?

It would be really good if the screen only repainted if a validation error was found...

Does anybody know of a way to do this?

Hi Mikki,

Sorry I have no idea about this :-( I haven't seen it reported before, or seen it myself. I'll try and investigate but my suspicion is that there isn't an easy answer using the CF validation code.
