Google Spreadsheet Save

GreyHead 13 Sep, 2016
Hi gbeltrami,

If you are happy to use a Google Spreadsheet instead of Excel then that is the simplest way to go. The problem with the other methods is that you are exporting a single record which then has to be re-imported into your spreadsheet, you can do this if your Excel User is familiar with the Text Import function of Excel.

Hi,
I was following this tutorial
https://www.chronoengine.com/faqs/70-cfv5/5233-how-do-i-use-the-google-spreadsheet-save-action.html

but I can't understand where do I have to upload the .p12 file once I download it from the google API dashboard

Thank you!

Thank you,

I don't see any "extras" folder in /components/com_chronoforms5/
so I created the folders /extras/Google/
and put it there

Hi Olaccina,

You should have extracted a whole lot of folders and files from the action package that need to be copied to /components/com_chronoforms5/extras/Google/

I am not following Bob...
I dont remeber installing any action packages, I installed Chronoforms V5 some time ago,
and if I go to form > setup > data management I can see the Google spreadsheet action as an option...

where can I find the action package btw, in the download section I only see this one: TCPDF action for Chronoforms V5

Thanks!

Hi Oloccina,

In the FAQ you linked to: Important: the standard version of this action no longer works because Google made a change to the way they authorise users. You can download a beta version of an updated action here. Please advise me - Bob aka GreyHead if you find any bugs.

Got it thanks!
I'll test again the next days.
