WYSIWYG editor not displaying after submit

cyberrocker 30 Aug, 2016
Hi Bob,
This maybe the same problem as found at https://www.chronoengine.com/forums/posts/f2/t98981.html though i am thinking not.

I have a small, reasonably basic form that the WYSIWYG editor displays in. On submit, it displays the same page with the saved html. However after submit, it doesn't display the WYSIWYG editor, only the text/source.

Any ideas??

Regards

Hi Ben,

Not off the top of my head. Please post a link to the form so I can take a quick look.

Hi Ben,

Are you using Ajax submission for the form? If so then I think that you need to re-load the editor after the submission. I can't see why you'd get this with a 'normal' (non-Ajax) submission.

Good job Bob,
I disabled ajax and it works fine, i will try to figure out how to implement your suggestion.
Thanks very much for your help

Hi cyberrocker,

Unless the AJAX submission is vital I'd leave it off. While it is almost certainly possible to re-load the editor there is no 'obvious' way to do it. I think that you'd have to add a function to the AJAX on-success code.
