I assumed a project from a former co-worker where we had setup a donation form utilizing Choronoforms and the Authorize.net plugin. The client just sent me an email with this:
You or your developer previously indicated you planned to use our JSON API Response functionality, which is currently in Beta. As such, we're contacting you to inform you of an upcoming change that could affect integrations using the JSON API.
Sometime on or after today, August 4th, we will remove the Byte Order Mark (BOM) from our JSON response to comply with RFC-7159.
We encourage you to ensure that your solution can accommodate this change to avoid disruption to your integration. If you have any questions, please contact your developer or solution provider, or feel free to call us at 877-447-3938.
Thanks for being an Authorize.Net merchant.
Sincerely,
Authorize.Net
I've tried to look into this a bit further but wasn't able to turn anything up. Can someone shed some light on this for me and is there anything I should be doing for the client regarding this?
Thanks.
