Hi

I have set up a CF and items above a Slider Container have the Tooltips displaying int he right place, however once you are inside any slider other than the 1st one, or are below the Slider Container the Tooltips do not appear in the right place on the screen. They could appear much higher or lower than they should do, so it looks like it is a conflict somewhere?

I am using the standard Protostar Joomla template.

I have tried changing the Sliders to Tabs and the same thing happens here too... :-(

I have tried changing the Container to be plain DIVs and then lined them up side by side using float in the CSS, but then the tooltips for anything other than in the left DIV are messed up like they are above for Sliders and Tabs. Any help would be appreciated :-(

Ok, so in regards to the Container being set to a DIV and then floating them side by side, this doesnt have the Tooltip in the wrong place.

I was checking it out with live changes via FireBug, but I guess the Tooltip location is decided on page load via JavaScript and therefore doesnt get recalculated when elements are moved around using FireBug.

Now I made the CSS changes permanent and reloaded the page I can see that the Tooltips are in the right places.

Perhaps this sheds some light on why they are int eh wrong place when you have Sliders and Tabs?

Hi Bon-ja-mon.

I experimented with the tabs a little yesterday and found that I can get them back in more or less the right location by setting the parent div for the label to position: relative. It's not the full solution but it does get them back in the right part of the screen. I'll test some more when I have time.

Thanks Bob. We decided to drop using the Sliders for this part of the solution so havent been able to check out your thought. Hopefully though this glitch is something that Max can pick up in a future release.
