Hello,
I created a development site on a different server with a contact form, url:http://allegro.spiderwebmichigan.com/index.php?option=com_chronoforms5&chronoform=contact
The form works fine, and I get the submission email.
I copied the web files and database to a new server (same provider) with a new domain. That same form submits and redirects fine, but I do not get any emails anymore. Url: http://allegrotuning.com/index.php?option=com_chronoforms5&chronoform=cta
I tried reinstalling chronoforms, and even changing the To and From emails, and still nothing. Does anyone out there have a solution? Thanks

I found that FAQ and unfortunately was not able to find a solution from it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling thinking that would solve the problem, but didnt. Im thinking maybe there's a setting in the config.php or database that's holding it back?
Hi mikelawrey,
Does the site send emails at all - for example, from the Mail icon in an article?
Have you set up the SMTP serves in ChronoForms settings (probably not)?

Bob,
So I did some A/B testing on the site and found that the Joomla install is NOT sending emails, even from the default contact form. I guess Ill do some more digging on the Joomla side of things. However, with the SMTP issues, no I havent tampered with SMTP settings. Is that something I should consider to fix this?

Hi mikelawrey,
By default ChronoForms uses the Joomla! mailer - if for some reason you want to use another SMTP mailer then you can configure that in the CF settings. For the moment I'd do as you suggest and see why the Joomla! mailer isn't working.
