The "field" class is part of the complete form structure. (HTML) does not automatically have a "field" class in the code and is not part of the whole. If they cannot be placed next to each other in one line, only 50% / 50%fileds.jpg

You can see in there some of the classes you can use to change the look of the form, but you CAN use the multi field area.
