Spam is sent even if google captcha is active - Chronoforms6

janekooo 09 Sep, 2017
I'm using google captcha on my forms. Spam is automatically generated by the robot. The Date field contains a letter in the sent message. By default, you can not send a form when the letter is in the Date field.

They probably use some backdoor, you do not have to use captcha to send.
Do you have any information where the problem is?

I also noticed that the most goes into 2-10 hours after the update.

Thank you

Hi janekooo,

Please post a screenshot of your settings for the form On Submit event.

The first blank message is written to the database. Subsequently, the completed form containing the spam is filled in and the text fields are in the fields for the date. This can not be sent by default because the calendar does not allow you to paste the text instead of the date.

This happens regularly and most often after updating the chronoforms. Google captcha is active and can not be simulated in the normal way as a real user.

Thanks for your help or idea where the problem is

Hi janekooo,

Please add an Event Loader to the pink On Fail event of the Check Google ReCaptcha action - see page 14 of the CFv6 manual.
